Miami Heat's Big Two + Expensive Dead Weight Blow 24-Point Lead to Magic

By Finesse

We don't often write about the NBA here, but we aren't above labeling pictures in a certain way that will get us a lot of extra hits from anticipated Google Image searches of the day.

Chris Bosh Dead Weight
The Miami Heat blew a 24-point third quarter lead to the Orlando Magic last night and lost 99-96, causing much consternation on this otherwise slow, Charlie Sheen Interview-less morning.  Nobody is feeling bad for Miami this morning, but the Heat's modest struggles this year are proving out something that everyone should have known all along: Chris Bosh is one of the most overrated players in the NBA, if not the most overrated.

Chris Bosh Overrated
Just last Thursday, he shot an epic 1-18 from the field in a loss to the Bulls.  He finished that game with 7 points and 9 rebounds in 42 minutes.  He played two OK games in between (albeit against the Matador defense of the Wizards and Knicks) and then really showed his true value last night: 13 points and 5 rebounds on 5-15 shooting.  Oh, and no blocks.  In 40 minutes.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are bonafide superstars, and even if their chemistry on the court together is sometimes spotty, that doesn't diminish their generational excellence.  But Bosh?
